Small Calico on Coltsniper Pitbull
Fished overnight on the Freedom.
The counts were down all week. The weather turned and it was a bit chilly out there. Then the wind picked up!
Everyone had Wahoo fever, so we trolled for a long time.
The boat hooked 2 marlin within 20 minutes, but both came unbuttoned.
I got a few bonito, a small yellowtail, and some misc. bottom critters (all released). I captured everything on Shimano jigs; I got skunked using live bait.
Shimano Fishing Fan, Shane, brought along a new jig called the Coltsniper Pitbull! It’s looking to be a fantastic inshore jig. I tried to use my 30g Coltsniper Fall, but the conditions were too rough to adequately test it.
